Just for Fun….Recipes

Karen Quebbeman from Webmedx is my go to person anytime I need a new recipe. She was kind of enough to provide a few to post here for MT Week. I made Leianne’s Candy and it was delicious! Enjoy!!!

Cream Corn Casserole
1 can cream corn
2 egg
½ c. milk
½ c. crushed crackers

Mix and pour in greased square baking dish at 350 for 30 minutes or until slightly brown.

Sweet Potato Casserole
3 c. cooked sweet potatoes (fresh not canned)
½ c. sugar
½ t. salt
2 eggs
1/3 stick butter
½ c. milk
1 t. vanilla
¼ t. cinnamon
Dash nutmeg

Whip above and put in greased oblong baking dish. Top with 1 c. brown sugar, ½ c. flour, 1/3 stick butter, 1 c. chopped nuts

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes

Leianne’s Candy
1 lb. almond bark (for a different flavor, use chocolate almond bark)
1 c. marshmallows
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. unsalted peanuts

Melt almond bark and then mix in remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonful on wax paper until set.
