New Shortcut Exercise

A new shortcut exercise has been placed under the Editing Fun tab (Exercise 11). This week we are going to practice cut (CTRL+X) and paste (CTRL+V) again. We are also adding on two key shortcuts:

CTRL+SHIFT+Up Arrow – This will select one paragraph up.
CTRL+Shift+Down Arrow – This will select one paragraph down.

These shortcuts are particularly helpful when selecting text to create section headings, moving content to other areas of the document, and deleting large areas of text (For example, “thank you for transcribing this report” at the end of a draft document).

Do not forget to use these shortcuts in combination with shortcuts you have already learned.
